Topic: How The Trump Administration Could Impact Minority and Women Owned Businesses
Thursday, April 6, 2017 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM Kingsgate Marriott Conference Center This event draws 350 CEOs, senior executives, supply chain management, and diversity managers from healthcare providers and their major suppliers, as well as minority and women business owners to increase diverse spend in the entire healthcare supply chain throughout the region. Since the first Symposium, we have documented nearly
$80 million in new contracts as a result of contacts made or advanced at a previous event. BUSINESS PITCH COMPETITION If you are an MBE or WBE and your company offers a product or service that can meet the needs of our participating health systems and their major suppliers, we invite you to participate in the Business Pitch Competition taking place during the Symposium. Five finalists will have a unique opportunity to present their business ideas to our panel of judges. All finalists will benefit from the insightful feedback from the judges as well as exposure for their products and services in front of the full Symposium audience. After all the pitches, one finalist will be declared the winner. In addition to this esteemed title, the winner will receive introductions to key buyers in the participating organizations as well as a $5000 prize. The five finalists will be selected from a three-part competitive process: 1) Submit your name, company name, and capability statement in 300 words or fewer to claudia@theabercrumbiegroup.com no later than Friday, March 10 at 5:00 PM EST. 2) If you are selected to advance to the second round, you will be requested to submit more specific information about the products or services your company provides by Friday, March 17 at 5:00 PM EDT. 3) If you are selected to advance to the third round, you will be interviewed by our preliminary panel of judges.
